South Africa were the winners (31), New Zealand (30) and Canada (29). The Australian team came in 5th! Good effort boys!!

The team ready for the quiz. Wayne said it would be the toughest competition ever as all the teams were exceptional.

We are very proud of our team. It was a thrillingly close competition and all of the teams were strong. The boys are disappointed that they did not place higher but need to remember that fifth in the world is still an exceptional achievement - so few of us get to be fifth in the world at anything. Well done Leo, Nick, James and James.

Team Australia KLQ can be extremely proud of representing our country - what an adventure. I'm certain the friendships made and the exposure gained competing in South Africa makes you all winners in the long term. Well done boys (and Mrs H).
